The CIIS band performed in the inaugural parades for every U.S. President, 1882-1914. The Band Stand was named after Dennison Wheelock (Oneida), Bandmaster.

$1,000+    The 1912 Team

Football team featuring Jim Thorpe (Sac and Fox). They carried a limping Dwight Eisenhower off the field.

$500+    Lilian St. Cyr Guild

First famous Native American (Ho-Chunk) actress to go on to star in silent movies after graduation from Carlisle.

$250+       Leupp Indian Art Studio

Angel DeCora (Winnebago) an artist developed the studio in 1906 to celebrate traditional arts and crafts.

Other Amount       Susan Longstreth Literary Society

The girls’ literary club named in honor of an early Quaker benefactor to the school.
